Stop Growing!!

You can't tell from this picture but this little guy is getting so confident in standing. Sometimes in the middle of the room. He has also taken 5 steps. It won't be long till my baby is walking.
The face of trouble. He knows he's naughty  with this smile he always gives me when he climbs the stairs all day long.
My favorite thing in the world is when I'm making dinner and the kids are coloring and getting along.
I also love when they involve Sawyer when they play house. Right here he is the King. So funny!!
Our house tends to turn into a neighborhood hangout, which I don't mind. They all play really well for the most part.

River Rat

We went kyacking with the Paynes for a date night and it was seriously sooo fun! We will be doing this a lot now that we have access to 6 of them. And best of all it's free!!! Our family started a hardcore budget plan to get us out of debt and make our life better. Plus Mike and I are working towards being healthier and more active. Oh course mike had to wear his notorious chain. He fit right in with the fine river folk.
I haven't been to the river in a long time so it was pretty funny that I went twice in one week. The girls in my ward wanted to float the river. We went during the day which was a nice break from kids. If you can't tell from the picture it looks like quite the group.  Baileys aunts sister and mom came and they were all hilarious!! It was a fun time down the river!!

Peace Out Summer

This cute girl is more then excited about starting 1st grade with Ms. Batz again!
Parker look oh so handsome for 2nd grade. Watch out ladies! He has Mrs. McBlane.
I love that they have eachother. I think it makes everything easier.
As sad as I am about summer being so  short and over, I'm excited to get back some structure to our lives. As fun and loud as it was the kids having sleep over every night, and being out of town non stop. I was ready to get things back to normal. Pierce missing these kids, and the first week was rough with him being bored a lot. We figured out we just needed to print out some coloring and worksheets, "homework" as he likes to call it. He is also starting preschool and 2 different play groups next week.

Big Blowout 60th Suprise

We all surprised mom for her 60th birthday with a fun filled weekend at the cabin. She thought Dad was taking her up to Sedona for the night (which he's never done anything like that) so I'm guessing she knew something was up. Regardless she loved it and you could tell by her face.
We had a fun morning at the church playing hungry hippos, pickle ball, and corn hole.
This is how Grandpa typically looks at family functions. He has earned the title as baby whisper.
The kids loved running around. These cousins have so much fun together.
The game of the weekend.
It was awesome that Braden's family could be here for this.
My favorite underwear man
Talent show night
Mike loves teaching Sawyer kisses.
This family is quickly growing
My crew
Grandpa came up with the idea to pull all the weeds in the front. This was long overdue. Huge difference when we were done.
These boys sure love their dad.
Best babysitter of the trip, Rhino.
Oh sweet sauce
We ended the weekend with a glow stick party and a game of don't get eaten by the Bears. Fun fun relaxing weekend!!

4th of July Campout

Our annual 4th of July campout and Sawyer first time camping in the woods. He loved it as you can tell.
Favorite thing about Lower Creek Canyon, the famous swing.
The Princess
The Ninja
The Character
The Crazy Cute Big Boy
The Loveable Sweet Sawyer
The Adamson clan accompanied us this year. It was a bad year for friends. Everyone was either out of town or moving.
This is how we roll.
These two...
One of favorite pics of these boys. They can either be the best of friends or each other's worst nightmare. It pretty much poured the whole second day of camping. It kinda stunk. We had our worst night ever camping. Our tent was leaking all night and Sawyer kept waking up.
Link took a fabulous looong nap in the back of the Jeep.
Me and the Sauce.
We headed up to Heber for the fireworks to see if it was still raining and it was, so we all decided to head back home and hit the Payson fireworks. They ended up being great!! This year all of the kids loved them๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰!!

Worst Thing About Parenting

First of all this face...๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜. Man he's cute!! Well I decided two days ago would be the perfect time to potty train Link. We just got back from our vacations, the kids  are still out on summer break and can help out and he always says poop when he goes to the bathroom. Once I start potty training, in mind, there is no turning back. It's always tough, but I have to stick with it cuz I never want to re potty train a kid. Day 1: your typical nightmare first day of potty training. I knew it would be bad but he was different from my other three because before this day and all day long he never went potty in the toilet. It was so frustrating cuz I knew if he went once he would start to understand the process. He woke up dry from his nap so I knew he needed to go soon so I ran to the bathroom where I sat with him while he played with my phone for an hour and a half. No joke!!! The longer I waited the more time I had invested, it was aweful. I finally gave up because he was getting restless. As soon as I took him off he peed on the floor๐Ÿ˜ก. It was a tough day, but I just kept looking at this pic to not loose it.
Day 2 and 3: the next morning I got him to pee in the toilet. It was the best moment!!! I freaked out and still do every time he goes. Since day 1 he has not pooed in his underwear๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰. He gone number 2 in the toilet surprisingly well. He had only one accident so far today and he is even telling me when he needs to go. He says "poot" for both. I'm trying not to get too excited because it's still very early and we haven't even left the house yet. But I got to say, he is pretty amazing!!

It has been a week and half and I have to say he has been one of my easier kids to potty train. Sure we still have our bad days and accidents but he will tell me poot most of the time. Which I think it took a couple weeks until the other kids went number two in the toilet. He hasn't had one of those accidents for a long time. We just need to work on him telling me when he has to pee. He will go if I take him. He is awesome!!
