A Five Year Old, really??

I can not belive I have a five year old. Wow do I feel old!!!  Parker turned five two weeks ago and he couldn't be any happier. We have been waiting for this milestone for a while because in the past when Parker didn't want to eat or do something, he would always say, " Well when I turn 5, I'll like salad." or whatever he didn't want. Let's see if that holds up. This boy is so outgoing and fun. He is constantly making me laugh. He is very determined in whatever he is doing. He loves doing things that are detailed like legos, puzzles and his new favorite thing that he got from Grandma and Grandpa, his light bright.  He is very sensitive to other people's feelings and he wants to include everyone. His best friend is his Dad, and he wants to be exactly like him. He's already 100 percent positive he wants to be an Accountant when he grows up. Exciting:) He loves to go golfing with Dad and he loves reading books with Mom at night. He's my trouble maker but also my sweetheart and we just love Parker so much!

You might not be able to tell from this picture but he was so excited when he saw his new big kid bike. He has to ride it every where we go.

His actually birthday was jam packed with activities. We started off the morning with Parker and Kennidi's first soccer game.

Right after that he had primary progrm practice, which by the way he did such an amazing job this year. It was his first time talking in the microphone and he talked slow and loud, it was perfect. Anyways right after that we had his birthday party at Freestone Park.  We took these crazy 11 boys ice blocking. It was a little chaotic but the kids had a blast. My in laws came and helped out which was amazing because it was quite the party. We will definitely be going ice blocking again with our kids soon, because it's so simple but the kids just loved it.

The boys had fun taking turns on the ice block, sqirting water guns, rolling down the hills, going on a scavenger hunt and they even had a water balloon fight.

Mike was the all star of the day. I don't know how many times he lugged the ice blocks up and down the hill. He definitely deserves the title of # 1 Dad.

Parker really wanted a Spiderman themed party this year.

His cake turned out pretty good, I was sad when some of the food coloring started dripping, but what can you do. He loved it, that's all that matters.

It was definitely a fun filled day, I'm just so happy September is over. What a crazy month!
