Big Boy

Parker is officially growing up too fast. The training wheels are off his bike and he is feeling like a big kid. The other week I was inspired by my niece
(thanks Emma) who is a little younger than Parker. I was shocked that she could ride with out training wheels. It never occured to me to even try this young. This weekend we thought we would give it a try. He picked it up right away, I couldn't believe it. It was so fun watching him cruise down the street. I'm really trying to cherish all these fun memories becuase before I know it he'll be all grown up. Oh and the big tip that we got that was so helpful is to have him start on a really small bike because the smaller the bike, the easier it is for them to balance. Also if the bike is small they can put their legs down so it's easy to stop.

good to know! Taking the training wheels off is one of Nolan's goals this year. He's getting a new bike for his birthday so we better hurry and teach him how on his small bike.
