Meet Crush

Crush is the newest member of our family. He is our first pet and we are really excited to have him. He is about as low maintence as you can get which is perfect for us. The kids love trying to find him every morning in our backyard. They think it's so funny that he always hides. Things have been great except the first day we got him, the unthinkable happened. It's pretty much the grossiest thing ever so be prepared. So I was upstairs getting Kennidi ready and Pierce was playing on the floor when Parker comes up holding our turtle. First thing I tell him is to take him outside because he's not allowed inside. As he's taking him out Crush is right over Pierce and he poops on Pierce's face. NO JOKE! It was a million to one shot but got all over him. (Luckily not in his mouth) But even so it was aweful!!! Needless to say Crush and Pierce share a special bond now and I'm sure we'll be able to laugh about this in the future. The only good thing that came from this situation is that now Parker never tries to bring him in the house because he says that if he does Crush will poop on Pierce.

We got season passes to the Phoenix Zoo and we went for the first time a couple weeks ago. It was a lot of fun. I have a feeling we will be spending a lot of time there this year.

My sweet Pierce is 6 months already. He is so fun. He loves being around people, he is so happy and loves to laugh. Parker and Kennidi can get him to laugh the loudest by dancing and playing peek a boo with him. He loves to eat and thinks he's pretty cool that he can pick up puffs and eat them by himself. He has the cutest squeal when he gets mad. I love his dimple on his chin and we still are trying to figure out where he got that. We love him so much!!
