Finally!!

I am proud to say that the playroom that I've been working on for who knows how long is complete. I'm really so excited that it is finished because I can cross one more thing off my long list of things to do before Pierce gets here. I have been wanting a playroom for a long time, especially since I babysitting so much. I'm very happy how everything turned out. I just wish that it would stay this neat and organized forever. Sorry that these pictures are so bright.

4th of July Weekend

For the 4th of July we did our annual campout up north. Our family headed up early Friday morning to find a spot big enough for 7 couples and 10 kids. It was a crazy bunch but everything turned out great. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend and getting out of the heat!

We camped right next to a creek which was great because our kids loved going on hikes.

This is one of my all time favorite pictures

One thing that Kennidi and I did not like about our spot, was all the dirt everywhere. She tripped a lot. This particular time when she fell she was so dramatic she litterally laid in the dirt for like 5 min just whinning. It was pretty funny.

Now this little monkey was in complete heaven. He seriously would just sit and throw dirt everywhere. It was a total nightmare trying to keep him clean. I gave up many times. Luckily there was a creek nearby but it was still impossible to keep him clean.

Playing mexican horseshoes is always a camping must.

The best thing about the weekend was as always, the Heber fireworks. Our kids would disagree. I swear every year we think that they will just love them. I don't know if it's because we are so close and they are so loud, but both of them would just cling to us and refuse to watch them. Oh well there is always next year.

The remaining crew who stayed for the fireworks. I have to say having 3 pregnant women on a weekend campout, we were bound to have some fireworks of our own. Let's just say we came close when things got heated during a game of Werewolf. Some of us (me) get too anxious and competive in that game but we won't get into that:)
