Update Time!!

So to update you on my pregnacy I have only 6 weeks left!! Yahh baby! Everything is going great. It's going by super fast so I don't feel set up at all for this little girl at all yet, but we are slowly getting there. Oh and for those of you that don't know yet we decided on a name, it'going to be Kennidi. And if you can't tell what that says its Kennedy. The thing is since I got to have the final say on the names we picked out, the deal was that Mike got to choose how to spell it. It's really different I know but am definitely warming up to it. I just can't wait for her to be here!!
My mother in law signed me up for a cake decorating class for my birthday present. It was really fun. I learned a lot. By no means am I a pro at all but I'm hoping that with what I learned I will save a lot of money of future birthday cakes and such in the future. Thanks Mom!! We made 3 cakes in this 4 weesk class. Week 1

Week 2
Week 3Parker helping Dad put the star on the tree. Mike and I love this time of year so much. It's really fun combining all of our holiday traditons. Mike has come up with a lot of cute ideas of things to do with Parker. This little boy loves ornamets so much. In fact our beautiful tree is now completely bare on the bottom half because I finally got sick of picking them up everyday.
Parker and I agree that the stomach flu is no fun at all. We both survived a couple of gruling days of pain. We are just glad that it is over. Last night we got home from a fireside and Parker was completly wiped out. I wish I video taped this and put here so you could here how loud he was snoring. It was hilarious. Mike and I just sat and listened forever. It was pretty cute.

Three Years Ago...

Oh how I miss the good old days of being tan and 19. But hey being pasty and 7 months pregnant isn't so bad either. All jokes aside, I'm really happy with where my life has taken me. So yeah Mike and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary last week and its crazy to think how fast 3 years flew by. Its been a great three years filled with some tough times but for the most part Mike and I have the best time together. I don't know anyone who can make me laugh as hard as he does. I love his weird sense of humor that only a select few get. He is an amazing husband and father and I feel so lucky to be married to him. He made our anniversary really special. I told him that I didn't care what we did I just wanted it to be a suprise. He picked me up in the afternoon and blind folded me so I had no idea where we were going. We ended up in Scottsdale at a resort and I was totally shocked because it was the middle of the week and he has work and because Parker was at my mother in laws and I have never been away from him at night. It was nice having a night by ourselves. But it was weird waking up and not seeing Parker. Everything went perfect but he still owes me one thing. We didn't get to watch my favorite video, our wedding video. Its a tradition that we have every anniversary. He pretends to dread watching it again and I get to fall in love all over again. Haha! Its the best!

Meet Zorro...
I had such a fun time dressing Parker up this year for Halloween. With help from both my mom and Mikes we made this adorable costume. It was so funny to watch him cause usually he is all smiles and goofy but when we put him in this outfit he would get so serious. Its as if he knew the role of Zorro too well.
My good friend Kelly came with me to my ward Halloween party and brought her adorable pirate of a son Brecken. I swear these two are long lost brothers. I think they look a lot alike.

My little Cowboy is One!

I seriously can't believe that it has already been a year. It's true kids grow up so fast. It has been a fun and entertaining year. We love Parker so much and he brings so much love into our home. Well we had a little birthday bash for him this week. Nothing too big just family. It was so much fun it was cowboy themed because.. well actually I don't know why I just thought it would be cute. Everything turned out great. I had a lot of help from both my mom and Mike's.We had some good grub and fun games for the kids. I hope he will treasure this party forever. Ha I know he won't remember it at all but I had a lot of fun planning it out.

We had a stick horse relay race. It was fun to watch all the kids hop around on the horses.
Of course we had to atleast try to get the toddlers involved.(Didn't really work)

This is me attempting to get all my neices and nephews attention for games. Is anybody listening to me?? My sister in law made the cutest cowboy cake in the world. I don't know how she whipped this up so beautifully. I'm not suprised though because she is pretty crafty. Thanks Julie! I loved it! It was perfect size for Parker.
It was funny I thought for sure he would go to town on his cake but he just kinda sat there and played with it. I don't think he realized it was a cake because it really looked like a teddy bear.Eventually he got the hang of things.

Never say never

I have always said that I would never be caught dead driving a mini-van because lets face it they are not the coolest cars to drive. Lets just say that kids change everything. We bought this mini-van last week and believe it or not I abosutely love it. It's pretty amazing. Mike made sure to get one that was loaded with everything to ease me into wanting to drive it. Its used of course but the owner kept it in excellent condition. We decided to get this because even though we just have Parker and baby girl on the way we needed something bigger and safer especially for going on trips. So I'm loving it and it really is a nice car to have when you have kids. The only thing that I can't get over is that I'm 22 and I'm driving a mini-van. I mean who does this? I'll get over it though. On the plus side if anyone wants to have a night out on the town. Party is in my mini-van. I can seat seven!!Oh and between you and me the number of times I get hit on in my car has already doubled this week. Haha!
We took Parker to his first Dbacks game last night. Thanks to a lawyer at Mike's office we had awesome seats right behind home plate. I wasn't sure if bringing Parker was such a good idea because all he wants to do is walk everywhere but it ended up being a really fun family night. We got lucky and the seats next to us were empty so Parker loved having his own personal seat. It was so funny he kept standing up and laughing and smiling at everyone behind us. I swear this kid loves people. I don't know if that is a good thing or if its bad that he is so friendly.

It's a Girl!!!

K so I'm a little behind on my blog. We found out last week that we are having a baby girl. We are so excited. We both thought that I was having a girl so it wasn't too much of a suprise. We don't have a name yet but we are working together to come up with one. Hopefully it will be soon. We went up to my cabin this weekend with my whole family and I have a ton of neices so Parker got some one on one experience with little girls. It was really cute seeing him play with them but at the same time it made me nervous because he loves babies and he has no concept of personal bondries. He kept climbing on them and grabbing their faces. I can tell I am going to have my hands full with this next baby. Here is Parker with cute little Waverly. We went to Mexico a couple weeks ago with our friends for the weekend and enjoyed the beach and good food.
Parker and Tate loved playing on the beach with their sand toys.
We also went camping again this time with Mike's family.
Parker is now 11 months. I can't believe how big he is getting. He really has quite a unique personality just like his dad. We have a lot of fun with him. He's now walking all around the house. He just started getting the hang of it this week. He looks so cute wabbling around everywhere.

Number two is on its way!!!

Parker's life long dream is coming true he will soon be a big brother! That's right folks I'm pregnant again. We knew we wanted to have our next baby really close to Parker and it turns out they will be closer than we thought. Before I had my ultra-sound we thought for sure that I was around ten weeks well I found out monday that I am actually 15 weeks along. So that was pretty much the best news ever. One less month of throwing up. Yahhh!!! Really we are so excited for this new baby to come and for Parker to have best friend. They will be 16 months apart. My due date is Jan. 27th. Parker loved showing off his super cool onsie that let our family and friends know that he would be a big brother. I had the big reveal for some friends at lunch yesterday.. It was fun seeing a lot of the girls that I hadn't seen in a long time. Oh and it was so funny how many of us girls have young babies. We certainly stood out in the Red Robin.

What a month!!

This past month was crazy. We had a lot of things going on. Mike was in summer school all month and I was pretty much babysitting every kid in the world. I'm so glad its July now so our summer can finally start. Some fun things happend too though. My sister in law got married two weeks ago. We had a lot of fun spending time with family. The reception was beautiful and Parker looked adorable in his green vest. I love weddings! I babysat my newphew for a week and let me tell you I now realize how much harder it will be when we have more kids. It really changes everything. I swear these two little boys would tag team me all day long. They would get into everything, but they had a lot of fun together.
This past weekend we went camping with some friends at Woods Canyon Lake. The main reason we went is so that we could see the Heber fireworks. If you have never seen them you need to go cause they really are the best fireworks I have ever seen. Parker did not have the best experience with the fireworks. The noise totally scared him but he loved the bright lights.
Oh and you would never believe me but I found this creepy snake in our bedroom yesterday. I had just woken up and I swear that I saw a snake slither into our closet. Well Mike had just left for work and he had convinced me that I was just seeing things. Even though I wasn't positive about what I saw I still tried to block off the closet till Mike could come home and catch it. Well hours later I saw it in a diffent corner of the room. I almost peed my pants. Anyways I had to catch the snake myself and it was super scary because it moved so fast. Mike still didn't believe me till he got home and saw it himself. Cause really who finds a snake in their house. We think it came from all our camping stuff. Freaky I know!!!

This is what I call camping!

Last week was pretty crazy. We babysat 6 kids plus Parker all week long. It was a good experience for me and we ended up having a really good time. Parker has been asking for a sibling since because he loves kids and chaos. Anyways when the weekend came we were really excited because we planned a camping trip. Well due to the crazy weather, things didn't turn out quite like we planned. The campground was filled with snow. We ended up not going but this didn't stop Mike from setting the tent up in our family room. So he decided that we should camp at home.Weird I know but we really had fun and Mike was happy because he got to use our new camping stuff.Birthday boy Mike turned 25 yesterday!! He got a lot of fishing supplies and things for our grill. He couldn't be happier.
We went to his favorite restaurant Texas Roadhouse for dinner with some of our friends. The kids took turns riding on his birthday saddle.

Sedona Weekend

This past weekend we went to Sedona to celebrate Mike's break from school. His break won't last long since he is doing summer school so we had to get out while we could. Neither of us had ever stayed in Sedona so we were excited. Sedona is so pretty and there are so many things to do. We went on a really pretty hike through Oak Creek Canyon. It was a good size hike my calfs are still sore!! Oh and I had a awesome first mother's day. Parker and Mike know exactly how to make me feel special. We spent the day with both of our families. It was a great weekend!!
Ok so Parker isn't the hard core hiker we all thought he was. He really did have a lot of fun though. He loves being outside.Don't be fooled by his innocent smile. This little boy is quite mischievous. Even though he can't quite crawl yet he gets into everything!

Puppy Love

Sadie had her puppies and they are so adorable. She somehow popped out 7 of them and they are all boys. They are definitely keeping her busy. It is so funny to watch them latch on to her every chance they get and she just drags them around like its nothing. Its hilerious!! Anyways my mom is selling them so if you or anyone you know is interested in buying one let me know. They are miniature daschunds. Sadie's face is priceless. You can tell exactly what she is thinking. " You've got to be kidding me." Parker loves the puppies. Too bad Mike won't let us get a dog untill we have a bigger yard.
